Kent's 40th Birthday
For Kent's 40th birthday Melissa decided to throw a surprise party. It was tough keeping it a secret with all the friends and family. In the end he was very surprised, and he later forgave Melissa.
Flaming Gorge - 2009
Flaming Gorge this year was a blast. Mom, Brady, Cassidy & Bella camped with Grandpa Rose and Uncle Mike. Rachelle, Ira, Bridger and Avery also joined us this year. There were also lots of friends there to play with. The kids loved tubing, skiing and most of all surfing behind the Johnson's boat (thanks Johnsons). The kids were great campers and were always willing to help out.
Luke's burn - June 2009
Luke came with mom to achievement days. We were learning about personal hygiene and hair. We were in the back yard and the lady teaching the class left her curling iron on the ground. Of course Luke was curious and crawled over and picked it up. Mom ran him inside and put his hand in ice water for about 20 minutes and then took him to see the doctor. Luke had 2nd degree burns, but was lucky they weren't worse. We kept his hand medicated and bandaged for about a week and now it is all better.
